Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

MIRA helps you recreate a photo you love: you choose a reference, a friend lines up the camera with a see-through guide, and you keep the shots. This policy explains what information the MIRA app and website handle, who receives it and the choices you have. The short version: your photos stay on your device.

Who we are

MIRA is made and run by Yagel Oshri, an individual developer based in Israel (“we,” “us”). For questions about this policy or your information, email yagel557@gmail.com.

The short version

MIRA has no account and no sign-in. The app never asks for your name, email address or phone number.

Your references, shots and sessions are stored only on your device. MIRA doesn’t send them to us or to anyone else.

To sell MIRA Pro, MIRA uses the App Store and RevenueCat. To learn which of our ads work, it uses AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok. These services receive app and purchase events and device information, never your photos.

On iPhone, Apple’s tracking prompt lets you decide whether these services may use your device’s advertising identifier.

What MIRA stores on your device

Reference photos you import: a private copy of each photo you pick, a working copy used for the guide, and any person outline MIRA creates from it.

Photos you take in MIRA, grouped into sessions, with basic capture details such as the date, front or back camera, zoom and aspect ratio.

Small thumbnails that make your sessions load quickly.

Your settings, the curated photos you heart, and the answers you give in the introduction (for example, your goal).

This information lives in MIRA’s private app storage. Depending on your device settings, it may be included in your device’s own backups, which are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

How MIRA processes your photos

To make a “person only” guide, MIRA finds the person in your reference on your device, using Apple’s Vision framework on iPhone or Google’s ML Kit on Android, with the model included in the app. Your photos aren’t sent to a server for this.

Google states that ML Kit may send Google limited performance and usage metrics about the library itself. These metrics don’t include your photos.

The guide is only shown on screen. It’s never added to the photos you take.

Purchases

On iPhone, MIRA Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store, and on Android through Google Play. Apple or Google processes your payment under its own privacy policy. We never see your card or billing details, and we don’t receive your name or your store account details.

MIRA uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases and to know whether MIRA Pro is active on your device. RevenueCat receives the store’s purchase receipt and transaction details (such as the product, price, currency, purchase date and renewal status), a random app user ID it creates for your device, and device and app information such as the device model, operating system version, app version, store country and IP address.

RevenueCat also passes purchase events to AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok so we can see which ads led to a purchase. To match them, it receives the IDs those services create for MIRA on your device and, only if you allow tracking, your device’s advertising identifier.

Restore Purchases asks the store which purchases belong to your store account. It doesn’t give us your account details.

Ad measurement and your tracking choice

We advertise MIRA in other apps and on other sites, for example on Meta’s and TikTok’s platforms. To learn which ads lead people to install MIRA and buy MIRA Pro, the app includes software from AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok.

These services receive events such as the install, app opens and purchases (product and price), together with device and app information such as the device model, operating system version, language, time zone, app version, IP address and IDs that are specific to MIRA on your device (an ID each service creates, and Apple’s identifier for vendors).

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, MIRA asks for your consent before these services start, and you can withdraw it anytime in Settings → Ad measurement. Wherever you live, you can turn ad measurement off there.

On Android, Meta’s software loads when MIRA opens and may contact Meta to fetch its own settings, which shares your IP address and basic device information with Meta. MIRA doesn’t send app events or your advertising ID to Meta unless ad measurement is on.

On iPhone, MIRA shows Apple’s tracking prompt (App Tracking Transparency) after the introduction, before these services start. If you allow tracking, they may also receive your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and use it to connect MIRA events with ads you saw in other companies’ apps and websites, to measure and improve our ads. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, they don’t receive the advertising identifier, and MIRA tells Meta that tracking is off. MIRA still reports installs, app opens and purchases without it, so we can count which campaigns work.

You can change your choice anytime in your iPhone’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

On Android, these services start after the introduction and may receive your device’s advertising ID and Google Play install referrer information, which says which ad or link led to the install. You can reset or delete your advertising ID anytime in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device); once it’s deleted, apps receive no advertising ID.

Each company handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy and may combine it with other information it has about you, for example if you use its apps. None of them receive your photos, references, shots or what you do in the camera.

Who receives data

MIRA shares information only with the services named in this policy (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Meta, TikTok and Vercel for the website), only for the purposes described here, and never sells it. These services are bound by their terms with us and their own privacy policies to protect the information they receive with the same or equal protection as this policy describes.

Permissions

Camera: to show the live preview with your guide and take photos. MIRA asks the first time you open the camera.

Add to Photos: asked only when you tap Save to Photos or Export Comparison. MIRA requests add-only access, so it can save photos but can’t read your library.

Choosing a reference: MIRA uses the system photo picker, so it only receives the photos you pick. It doesn’t ask for access to your whole library.

Tracking (iPhone): Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, explained above.

MIRA doesn’t use your microphone, your location or your contacts.

When photos leave MIRA

Only when you choose. Save to Photos copies original shots to your photo library. Share opens the system share sheet, and the app you pick handles the photo under its own policy. Export Comparison creates one image with both photos and saves it to your library.

Internet use

MIRA’s photo features work without an internet connection, and the curated photo collection is included in the app. Buying or restoring MIRA Pro needs a connection. MIRA goes online to check and complete purchases and for the ad-measurement services described above. It never uploads your photos.

Emails and support

If you email us, including with Send Feedback in Settings (which opens your mail app with a draft that includes MIRA’s version and your device’s operating system version), we receive your email address and whatever you write or attach. Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself. We use it only to reply, to help you and to improve MIRA.

The MIRA website

Our website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or ad trackers, and it has no forms. It’s hosted by Vercel, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site.

How long information is kept

Content on your device stays until you delete it, erase MIRA’s data or delete the app.

We keep emails only as long as we need them to help you and follow up.

RevenueCat keeps purchase records as long as needed to provide its service to us and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok keep the data they receive according to their own retention policies.

Your choices

Delete shots, sessions or references in My Studio, or everything at once with Settings → Erase All MIRA Data. Deleting the app also removes what MIRA stored. Photos you saved to your library or shared stay where you put them.

Change camera, photo and tracking access anytime in your device settings.

Erasing your data doesn’t affect MIRA Pro. You can restore your purchase anytime.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we process and to get a copy, to correct or delete it, to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” or its use for targeted advertising, and not to be treated differently for using these rights.

We don’t sell personal information for money. Some state laws may treat sending app events and device identifiers to advertising companies for ad measurement as a “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” To opt out, turn off Settings → Ad measurement in MIRA. On iPhone, you can also choose Ask App Not to Track, or turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, delete or reset your advertising ID. You can also email us.

To make a request, email yagel557@gmail.com. We may ask for information to verify it, but we’ll never ask for your photos. Because MIRA has no account and keeps your content on your device, we usually hold little or no information that identifies you. For data held by RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Meta or TikTok, we’ll help where we can, and you can also contact them directly. You may use an authorized agent where your law allows. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

If you live outside the United States, for example in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have similar rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

MIRA isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we’ll delete it.

International transfers

We’re based in Israel, and the services described here may process information in the United States, Israel and other countries. Data protection laws there may differ from those where you live.

Security

Your content stays in MIRA’s private app storage, protected by your device’s own security, such as your passcode. No way of storing or sending information is completely secure, so please keep your device and its backups protected.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on our website and in the app and update the date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we handle your information, we’ll give more notice where the law requires.
