Using MIRA
How does MIRA work?
Pick a photo you love: one of your own, or one from MIRA’s collection of original inspiration photos. Choose your guide, the full photo or just the person. Then hand your phone to whoever is taking the picture. They line up the see-through guide on the real camera and shoot.
Afterward, compare your shots with the reference and save the ones you like.
Full Photo or Person Only?
Use Full Photo to recreate the same spot, frame for frame. Use Person Only to borrow a pose and shoot it somewhere new. MIRA finds the person in your photo right on your device. If it can’t find one, it uses the full photo.
Does the guide show up in my photos?
Never. MIRA saves the clean camera photo. The guide is only shown on screen.
Do I need an account?
No. MIRA has no account and no sign-in.
MIRA Pro
What does MIRA Pro cost?
On iPhone, MIRA Pro is sold through the App Store in two ways: Lifetime, a one-time purchase of $24.99, or Weekly, a subscription of $4.99 per week that renews automatically until you cancel. There’s no free trial.
These are U.S. prices. MIRA shows the price in your currency before you buy. MIRA Pro on Google Play is coming later.
How do I restore my purchase?
- Open MIRA and go to Settings.
- Tap Restore Purchases. (On the purchase screen, tap Restore.)
- Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy MIRA Pro.
Restoring is free, and your purchase works on any of your devices signed in to that account.
How do I cancel the Weekly plan on iPhone?
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap MIRA, then Cancel Subscription.
You can also get there from MIRA: Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your current week ends to avoid the next charge. You keep MIRA Pro until the end of the week you paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription.
Apple’s guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple.
How do I cancel on Android?
MIRA Pro isn’t sold on Google Play yet. Once it is, you’ll manage it in Google Play:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Tap MIRA, then Cancel subscription.
Google’s guide: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.
Can I get a refund?
Apple and Google process every payment, so they handle refunds under their own policies. We can’t issue refunds ourselves.
For an App Store purchase, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple’s guide). For Google Play, see Google Play’s refund policies.
Privacy and your data
Where are my photos stored?
On your device, in MIRA’s private storage. You’ll find them in My Studio, grouped by session. They go to your photo library only when you tap Save to Photos, and they’re never uploaded. Your device’s own backups may include them, depending on your settings.
How do I delete all my data?
- Open MIRA and go to Settings.
- Tap Erase All MIRA Data.
- Confirm with Erase Everything.
This deletes every session, shot and imported reference stored in MIRA, along with your preferences. Photos you saved to your library aren’t affected, and your MIRA Pro purchase is still yours to restore. Deleting the app also removes everything MIRA stored.
To ask us to delete the purchase and ad-measurement data that RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok received from MIRA, email yagel557@gmail.com from any address. We have no accounts, so tell us roughly when you installed MIRA and on which device; we’ll ask those services to delete what they hold and let you know when it’s done.
Permissions
When does MIRA ask for the camera?
The first time you open the camera in MIRA. If you said no, you can turn it on later:
- iPhone: open Settings → MIRA and turn on Camera.
- Android: open Settings → Apps → MIRA → Permissions → Camera and choose Allow. Names can vary by phone.
Does MIRA need access to my photo library?
No. To choose a reference, MIRA uses the system photo picker, so it only gets the photos you pick.
When you tap Save to Photos or Export Comparison, your iPhone asks whether MIRA may add photos. MIRA can then save to your library but can’t see what’s in it. If you declined, open Settings → MIRA → Photos and choose Add Photos Only. On Android 10 and later, saving doesn’t need a permission.
